Roots & Rhythm is designed to help you plan meals around seasonal produce, dietary preferences, and cycle context. This policy explains the information the website and app may use to provide that experience.

Information You Provide

You may choose to enter information such as your growing region, dietary preferences, ingredient exclusions, cycle timing, saved recipes, and support messages. We use this information to personalize meal suggestions and respond to requests.

How Information Is Used

Information is used to provide app functionality, improve recipe relevance, maintain account or support workflows when available, and keep the product reliable. We do not sell personal information.

To avoid showing you the same recipe idea too soon, the app may keep a compact recent recipe history for about 60 days and send relevant entries with recipe-generation requests. This freshness history includes recipe details such as title, selected ingredient, recipe style, technique, and ingredient names, but not your name or payment information.

Device and Usage Data

The app or hosting provider may collect basic technical information such as browser type, device type, pages visited, crash reports, and approximate region. This helps us understand performance and fix issues.

Location and City Lookup

Roots & Rhythm uses location context to show seasonal ingredients near you. You can set your city manually, and some location-related features may use third-party geocoding providers such as GeoNames, Open-Meteo, or OpenStreetMap Nominatim to resolve city names or coordinates.

We only request device location permission if you actively choose a location-detection feature in the app. You can continue to use manual city search instead.

Health and Wellness Context

Cycle-related information is used only to support recipe personalization. Roots & Rhythm is not a medical service and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice.

Your Choices

You can choose what information to enter, update your preferences, delete saved content where the app supports it, and contact support for privacy questions.
